Iraqi forces arrest 12 individuals belong to ISIS

ERBIL, KRI, Iraq (North Press) – Iraq’s Federal Intelligence Investigation Agency announced on Tuesday in two separate statements the arrest of ten terrorists in Nineveh province and two others in Sulaymaniyah province.

The Iraqi News Agency said, citing the statements, that they managed to arrest two terrorists in Sulaymaniyah.

Meanwhile, the Iraqi forces managed to arrest two terrorists in Nineveh province.

Shortly after the first operation, based on intelligence information, the Intelligence Investigation Agency was able to arrest eight other wanted individuals who were identified as Islamic State (ISIS) militants.

The Agency further explained that during the interrogation, the detainees admitted their affiliation with ISIS and receiving financial compensation for their activities.

The detainees were referred to the judiciary, according to the two statements.
