IRGC buses enter Syria’s Deir ez-Zor from Iraqi territory
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North press) – On Monday, five buses carrying militants of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) entered the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor Governorate, eastern Syria, coming from Iraq territory.
North Press correspondent in Deir ez-Zor, in a video recording, captured buses of IRGC entering into eastern Deir ez-Zor, accompanied by military vehicles, coming from Iraqi territory.
Earlier, the correspondent reported that unidentified attackers targeted IRGC militants with a rocket and machine guns in the town of al-Asharah, in western Deir ez-Zor, killing two militants and injuring others.
The correspondent said that the aforementioned attack targeted one of the buses while they were passing through the town. The buses stopped for two hours, during which the targeted bus was replaced. Subsequently, the buses reached the town of al-Mayadin in eastern Deir ez-Zor.
