3 SNA militants killed, 2 injured in Syria’s Tel Abyad
RAQQA, Syria (North press) – Three militants of a Turkish-backed faction of the Syrian National Army (SNA) were killed and two others were injured on Saturday after their military vehicle was targeted by an IED in south of the city of Tel Abyad, northern Syria.
A military source stated that an IED targeted a military vehicle of the SNA’s Ahrar al-Sharqiya faction while they were heading to the village of Ali Bajliyah, south of Tel Abyad.
The source added that the attack resulted in the killing of three militants and the injury of two others, who were transported to a hospital in Tel Abyad.
The incident marks the fourth of its kind against SNA militants in the region stretching from Tel Abyad to the city of Sere Kaniye (Ras al-Ain) in December, without any party claiming responsibility.
The Turkish-backed Military Police, supported by militants from the SNA’s Hamza Division, cordoned off the scene. They redirected vehicles to another route until the damaged car was removed and the injured were transported, the source said.
