ISIS kills 9 soldiers of government forces in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – The Islamic State (ISIS) attacked on Saturday at dawn Syrian government forces and their affiliated National Defense Forces (NDF) in the town of Abu Kamal in Deir ez-Zor Governorate, eastern Syria.
ISIS launched an attack on military posts of the government forces and the NDF in Abu Kamal countryside.
Clashes between the two sides broke out, resulting in casualties on both sides, an exclusive source told North Press.
Nine soldiers of the government forces and the NDF were killed as an initial toll. The number of ISIS militants’ casualties remained unknown, according to the source.
