Two militants killed in intra-SNA clashes in Syria’s Tel Abyad

TEL ABYAD, Syria (North Press) – Two militants were killed and five others were injured on Sunday in clashes between two armed groups of a faction in the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA), due to a dispute over a drug shipment in the city of Tel Abyad, northern Syria.

A source from the SNA’s Military Police in Tel Abyad told North Press that clashes erupted between two armed groups affiliated with the SNA’s Levant Front due to a dispute over a drug shipment.

The source added that the clashes have so far resulted in the killing of two militants from both sides and the injury of five others, in addition to wounding three civilians.

The source pointed out that the clashes took place within residential neighborhoods and involved the use of light and medium weapons. As a result, the entrances to the city have been closed which is set to continue until early Monday.
