Unknown armed men attack SDF posts in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Unknown armed men attacked on Friday evening posts and checkpoints of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Deir ez-Zor Governorate in eastern Syria.

A military source of the SDF said the attackers used machine guns and fired at two posts of the SDF in the town of al-Kasrah in the northwest of Deir ez-Zor.

The source added that the attack resulted in material damages.

Other unknown armed men attacked a checkpoint of the SDF in the village of Hawaij in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor. No damages reported in the attack, according to the source.  

In addition, unknown attackers fired shells at a post of the SDF in the village of al-Jarzi, east of Deir ez-Zor, without damages reported.
