Syrian opposition says government forces shell Idlib, Hama
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, the Syrian government forces renewed their shelling on the countryside of Idlib, northwestern Syria, and Hama, in central Syria, after the region witnessed a relative calm since the beginning of November, Syrian opposition outlets claimed.
These outlets said that government forces targeted the village of Fatterah in the Zawiya Mountain, south of Idlib, with more than 150 artillery and rocket projectiles.
They added that the government forces heavily shelled the town of Fatterah, as well as the villages of al-Mushik and al-Qarqur in the Ghab Plain in northwestern Hama.
The Syrian government forces and the Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria, affiliated with the Russian Ministry of Defense, are yet to issue an official statement.
