Three HTS militants killed in Syria’s Idlib
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – Three members of the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS, formerly al-Nusra Front) were killed on Sunday by unidentified gunmen in the southern countryside of Idlib Governorate, northwestern Syria.
A military source told North Press that this evening, unknown gunmen killed three militants of the HTS-linked General Security Service (GSS) after attacking with machine guns a GSS military vehicle on the road that links the villages of Nahla and Ariha, south of Idlib.
This attack marks the sixth incident of its kind in November, resulting in a total of eight casualties among the HTS ranks, with several others sustaining injuries. No entity has claimed responsibility for these attacks.
The source also said that after the attack, HTS cordoned off the scene and blocked the road between Nahla and Ariha.
