4 people injured by Turkish border guards in Syria’s Derbasiyah
DERBASIYAH, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, four people were injured by Turkish border guards in the border town of Derbasiyah, northern Hasakah Governorate, northeastern Syria.
Eyewitnesses from Derbasiyah told North Press that four people, including a young girl, who reside in the Western Neighborhood in Derbasiyah, were shot at and injured by Turkish border guards.
A doctor at the emergency department of the Shahid Khabat Hospital in Derbasiyah told North Press that the hospital received four injured people during the evening.
The doctor said that the injured individuals were 18-year-old Muhammad Tawfiq, 30-year-old Lowreen Kalo, 30-year-old Dawood Mustafa, and 9-year-old Nisreen Muhammad.
Given that Nisreen’s condition was critical, the doctor added, she was immediately transferred to a hospital in the city of Hasakah. As for the others, they have been successfully treated.
