MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – A car exploded on Friday in the city of Manbij, northern Syria, amid reports of casualties as a result of the explosion.
A North Press correspondent, citing eyewitnesses from Manbij, reported that “a car exploded in the al-Ghassaniyah neighborhood in the city of Manbij.”
They added that there were casualties as a result of the explosion, and that firefighting and ambulance vehicles arrived at the scene immediately after the attack.
The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) and its military council have not commented on the explosion.
An employee of a non-governmental organization was killed on Friday morning as a result of a drone strike, suspected to be Turkish, in Northeast Syria.
A drone strike took place on Thursday evening in the countryside of the city of Qamishli, northeastern Syria, injured three people.
