20 locals injured by SNA’s shelling in Syria’s Manbij
MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, factions affiliated with the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA) shelled a village west of the city of Manbij, northern Syria, resulting in the injury of 20 villagers.
The city of Manbij and other areas in northern Syria have repeatedly been shelled by Turkey and its backed factions. These attacks mainly target infrastructure, vital facilities, and populated areas, causing material and human losses.
A local source from the village of Awn Dadat, in western Manbij, told North Press that the Turkish-affiliated factions shelled the village with dozens of mortar shells.
The source added that the shelling resulted in the injury of 20 villagers, who have been transported to hospitals in Manbij. Most of the injuries were critical and life-threatening.
Furthermore, the source explained that the shelling caused damage to the properties of some villagers.
North Press correspondent obtained the names of some of the injured individuals: Zakour Yahya Musa, Muhammad Yahya Musa, Hussein Fayad al-Ahmad, Ahmad Mahmoud, Muhammad Yahya Musa, Khaled al-Bakari, Hussein al-Ahmad, Muhammad Zakaria al-Mawas, Hassan al-Haji, and Ahmad al-Fawaz.
