4 children killed, injured in war remnant blast in Aleppo

ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – A child was killed and three others were injured on Saturday in an explosion of an unexploded ordnance in an IDP camp in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, northern Syria.

More than 500 people in Syria have been killed or injured by war remnants since the beginning of 2023.

A medical source at the Qabasin Hospital in the town of Qabasin said, “A cluster bomb from the remnants of previous shelling exploded in the al-Masa camp near the town.”

The source added to North Press that the explosion resulted in the death of a child and the injury of three others.

The source also noted that two of the injured are in critical condition due to the severity of their injuries.
