SDF fighter killed, 2 wounded in Turkish drone strike in Syria’s Kobani

RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced on Thursday that one of their fighters was killed in a Turkish drone strike in the city of Kobani, northern Syria.

The SDF’s Media Center said in a statement that a Turkish drone targeted a vehicle carrying SDF fighters in the village of Bughaz in the south of Kobani, killing one fighter and injuring two others.

The statement added that the SDF fighters were on duty leave.

On Oct. 5, two civilians were killed in a Turkish drone strike in the town of Chalabiya in the southern countryside of Kobani.
