Clashes between 2 SNA factions lead to tension in Syria’s Azaz

AZAZ, Syria (North Press) – Military tension between two Turkish-backed armed opposition factions, aka the Syrian National Army (SNA), occurred on Wednesday in northern countryside of Aleppo, northwestern Syria.

For over a week, cities in the northern countryside of Aleppo, especially al-Bab, witness daily armed clashes among SNA factions or families affiliated with them, causing security chaos in the area.

Sources told North Press that dozens of militants from the Division 50, an armed group affiliated with Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS, formerly al-Nusra Front), attacked the new Industrial Zone in the town of Sawran, east of Azaz.

However, the al-Jabha al-Shamiya (Levant Front) faction affiliated with the SNA, intervened, leading to tension between the two parties, and blocking of roads.
