IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday that its forces foiled an attack by “terrorist organizations” using drones on areas under its control in Idlib Governorate, northwestern Syria, and Aleppo Governorate, northern Syria.
The Ministry of Defense said in a statement on its official website that units of its forces operating in rural Aleppo and Idlib responded to drone attacks launched by “terrorist organizations” on civilian areas and some military posts.
The Ministry of Defense further added that its forces and units managed to shoot down and destroy more than 10 drones and prevent them from reaching their targeted areas.
On Oct. 26, the Syrian Ministry of Defense said that its forces in the countryside of Hama Governorate, in central Syria, and Aleppo shot down several drones launched by “terrorist organizations” to attack areas under its control.
