Drone attack targets al-Tanf US base in Syria
RUKBAN, Syria (North Press) – A drone attack targeted on Monday at dawn al-Tanf US garrison, on the Syrian-Iraqi border.
A source of the US-led Global Coalition in al-Tanf military base told North Press that an anonymous drone attack targeted the base.
Since the beginning of the war between Hamas an Israel, the US military bases in Syria and Iraq have been subjected to a series of attacks, some of them were committed by the Islamic Resistance, Iranian-affiliated militia.
Iraqi media outlets said that a drone was downed while trying to target al-Tanf garrison.
Additionally, a drone was shot down while trying to target Ain al-Asad US base, western Iraq, according to the source.
