RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – An official in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) said on Wednesday that the AANES is concerned of spillover of Hamas-Israel conflict to its areas.

Al-Kait told North Press that Syria has become “a battleground for many countries, including the US-led Global Coalition that fights terrorism, Russian existence, and Iranian and Turkish intervention.”
“Iranian strikes on the Coalition’ bases from time to time portends spillover of conflict in the region,” according to the official.
Maybe war does not occur directly between the two parties, but “Iran will utilize its proxies to hit security and stability in northeast Syria,” al-Kait added.
Iran, throughout its attacks, intends to plunge the Global Coalition into a turmoil which will affect security and stability of AANES-held areas.
“What is occurring in Gaza will has vast and concerning repercussions on the Middle East in general and northeast Syrian in particular,” he pointed out.
