Turkish authorities transport 7 Syrian detainees to Turkey

RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, the Turkish authorities transported, in coordination with the Turkish-backed armed opposition factions, aka the Syrian National Army (SNA), seven Syrian detainees to prisons in Turkish territories.

An official in the Military Police, affiliated with the SNA, told North Press that the Turkish Intelligence transported seven arrested people from the Anti-terrorism center in the city of Tel Abyad, north of Raqqa, north Syria, to a prison in Turkey’s Urfa.

The transported detainees include five Kurdish individuals, two of them are women. They were detained in June while they were trying to get into turkey illegally, according to the source.

The detainees were previously investigated by the Military Police and charged with belonging to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the source added.
