Iraqi families to leave Syria’s Hawl Camp
HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – The management of Hawl Camp in northeast Syria prepares to send a number of Iraqi refugees back to their country, a source said on Friday.
An exclusive source from the camp told North Press that a new batch of Iraqi families are preparing to leave for Iraq within a week.
Iraqis comprise half of the 50,000 people who reside in Hawl Camp.
The families are going to be placed in al-Jadaa camp in the south of Mosul in Nineveh Governorate, northwestern Iraq, the source added.
According to the source, about 150 families are going to leave the camp.
