Art exhibition kicks off in Syria’s Qamishli
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, an art exhibition took place in the city of Qamishli, northeastern Syria, featuring the participation of 15 visual painters.
The exhibition, titled ‘Melodies of Autumn’, was organized at the Muhammad Sheikho Center for Art and Culture in Qamishli city.
Rojda Yassin, a member of the preparatory committee for the exhibition, told North Press, “For almost a month, we have been preparing for the art exhibition with the participation of 15 visual painters from Qamishli and other cities.”
She added that the exhibition includes 60 art paintings, with their content focusing on Kurdish folklore, nature, and visual art in general.
Furthermore, she said that the exhibition will span over two days and conclude with a ceremony honoring the participating artists.
