Car bombing causes casualties in Syria’s Qamishli

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – One woman was killed and a man was injured in the car bombing that took place on Sunday in the city of Qamishli, northeast Syria.

The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) revealed that during the examination of the vehicle, a Hyundai SUV type, a non-detonated explosive device (IED) was discovered and subsequently defused by the engineering teams.

On Sunday afternoon,  a car bombing took place, where firefighter teams rushed to the site to extinguish the fire.

As a result of the bombing, a woman was killed and a man was injured.

The Asayish forces imposed a security cordon around the site and started an extensive investigation into the incident.
