Soldier of government forces killed in Syria’s Daraa

DARAA, Syria (North Press) – Residents of the western countryside of Daraa Governorate, southern Syria, found, on Saturday, the body of a Syrian government forces soldier.

Local sources told North Press that residents found the body of Fadi Zaitun between the town of Sheikh Saad and the village of Adwan in the western countryside of Daraa.

Daraa has witnessed an increase in assassination cases targeting government forces’ soldiers and former militants of armed opposition factions.

The sources added that Zaitun was kidnapped near the town of al-Mezerib in the western countryside of Daraa in the morning.

Zaitun serves within the ranks of the Fourth Division in the government forces.

Israeli aircraft had dropped leaflets featuring his image, warning him against dealing with Hezbollah, a few months ago, according to the sources.
