Israeli airstrike on hospital in Gaza city kills, injures hundreds
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Hundreds of Palestinians have been killed on Tuesday in a single strike at a Palestinian hospital in the city of Gaza.
According to the spokesperson for Gaza’s Civil Defense, the Israeli strike on al-Ahly hospital resulted in the deaths of more than 300 individuals. However, the casualty count is expected to rise as no survivors or injured individuals have been found at the location. All those present at the site, estimated to be over 500 people, were killed and suffered severe injuries in the attack.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, a “preliminary estimate of 200 to 300 martyrs” have been killed in the Israeli strike on the al-Ahli hospital.
The hospital has hosted thousands of fleeing Gaza civilians, who escaped the intense Israeli bombardment of their towns and refugee camps throughout the Strip.
