Unidentified gunmen kill individual in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Unidentified gunmen killed, on Sunday, an individual in a town in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor Governorate, eastern Syria.

“Unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle targeted Aymn al-Dayyaf, 46, with machineguns in front of his house in the town of Abu Hamam in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, killing him immediately”, Fahad al-Abed, a resident of Abu Hamam, told North Press.

“Al-Dayyaf used to work as the head of the Relief Bureau in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor,” the source added.

Al-Abed said, citing eyewitnesses, that the gunmen fled towards the Euphrates River after attacking the man.

Unidentified gunmen killed on Saturday an individual in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

Deir ez-Zor and its countryside witness frequent assassinations against civilians and security forces, usually carried out by ISIS cells.
