Turkey sends 4 bodies of SNA militants killed in Libya to Sere Kaniye
HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – Turkey sent on Saturday the bodies of four militants of the Turkish-backed armed opposition factions, aka the Syrian National Army (SNA), who were killed in Libya to the city of Sere Kaniye (Ras al-Ain) in the northern countryside of Hasakah, northeastern Syria.
An official in the SNA’s Military Police told North Press correspondent that Turkish authorities delivered the bodies of four militants of the Hamza Division through Ras al-Ain border crossing.
He added that the bodies were transferred to the Division’s headquarters in the village of Tel Halaf in the countryside of Sere Kaniye to be delivered to their relatives.
Two of the bodies were identified as Udai al-Jahbal, 28, and Ahmad al-Asaaf, 25, the source noted without clarifying the cause and date of death in Libya.
Many international reports suggested Turkey sent thousands of SNA militants to Libya.
Furthermore, a military source within the Hamza Division said this is the third batch of bodies handed over by Turkish authorities during 2023 in Sere Kaniye, and in Azaz and Jarablus in the northern countryside of Aleppo, northwestern Syria.
