This followed artillery shelling that was carried out by the government forces against the Turkish military base”, a militant of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS -formerly al-Nusra Front) told North Press.
The source pointed out that the government forces targeted the villages and towns of Sarmin, Afes, and Nayrab, east of Idlib. In addition to the persistent artillery shells and missile strikes on the front lines south of Idlib.
The source added that Turkish forces targeted three posts of the government forces with four missiles and several artillery shells.

Additionally, two airstrikes hit the towns of al-Bara and Kansafra, resulting in injuries to four individuals at the textile factory site and two militants of the HTS.
Cities, town and villages in Idlib and Aleppo governorates have been witnessing intense government shelling since October 5, following an attack on a Military Academy in Homs Governorate, central Syria, which the government accused “terrorist organizations” in Idlib of being behind.
On Oct. 5, several drones struck Homs Military Academy’s courtyard during a ceremony graduation where families were gathered with newly graduated young officers. The strikes took place minutes after Syria’s Minister of Defense Ali Mahmoud Abbas left the ceremony.
