Unidentified gunmen kill man in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Unidentified gunmen killed on Saturday one individual in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.
A local from the village of Sabha in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, said unknown gunmen riding a motorcycle shot Khalaf al-Mishaal near the main road in the village.
The source added that Al-Mishaal was killed instantly.
Two days earlier, two members of the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) were killed by unidentified gunmen. Later, the Islamic State (ISIS) claimed responsibility for the attack.
Deir ez-Zor and its countryside witness frequent assassinations against civilians and security forces, usually carried out by ISIS cells.
