Turkish shelling targets areas in Aleppo northern countryside
ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – Turkish forces shelled several villages in the northern countryside of Aleppo on Monday morning, amid intense Turkish military escalation against northern Syria since October 5.
On October 7, more than 30 people were injured in a Turkish shelling targeting the towns of Nubl and Zahraa in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
A Local source told North Press that Turkish artillery targeted a post belonging to the Syrian government forces in the village of Soghana, as well as the vicinity of the town of Tel Rifaat and the villages of Ain Daqnah and Samoqah in Aleppo northern countryside at dawn on Monday.
On Sunday, the Turkish artillery targeted two posts belonging to the government forces in the villages of Gerdemiyeh and Ain Diwar in the outskirts of the city of Derik (al-Malikiyah), in far-northeast of Syria.
No human losses or material damage have been recorded from the shelling.
