Asayish removes explosive devices in Syria’s Raqqa
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) removed, on Saturday, several explosive devices in Raqqa Governorate, northern Syria.
“Mine clearance teams headed to the banks of the Euphrates River after receiving a report by a resident about the presence of suspicious objects”, the Asayish Media Center stated.
The Media Center added that explosive experts examined the objects, which included four explosive devices, a suicide belt, six electrical detonators, 15 batteries, five receiving devices, and two transmission devices.
They successfully removed the explosive devices without causing any damage, according to the statement.
