SNA faction hands over 2 former HTS members to HTS in Aleppo
ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – The Turkey-backed faction of al-Amshat handed over on Sunday two individuals to Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) via Deir Balout crossing in the countryside of Aleppo.
A military source told North Press that the Sultan Suleiman Shah faction, aka al-Amshat, handed over HTS’ General Security Service (GSS) two former security personnel of HTS. Both had fled from HTS at the beginning of August to the town of Jindires, west of Afrin, in northern Aleppo.
The source stated that the first individual who was handed over is Abdulmurdi al-Lashu, a former member of the 106 body of GSS in the city of Sarmada. The second is Hudhayfah al-Siala, a former security administrator in the same body.
The source further added that this handover is the second one carried out by al-Amshat faction to HTS, under the supervision of the Turkish forces stationed near Deir Ballout crossing in the countryside of Afrin.
