IED kills militant, injures two in Syria’s Daraa
DARAA, Syria (North Press) – A former opposition militant was killed and two others were injured on Saturday in Daraa Governorate, southern Syria, after being targeted by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED).
Osama Muhammad al-Atma, a former opposition militant, was killed, and Ali Imad al-Atma and Ahmad al-Nassar were injured as a result of a targeting by unknown individuals with an IED in the western neighborhood of the city of Sanamayn in the north of Daraa, a local source told North Press.
Osama al-Atma died immediately, while the other two were transferred to the Public Hospital in Sanamayn after sustaining serious injuries, the source added.
The IED detonated in the house where the three were inside. The reason of the explosion is still unknown, the source noted.
