2 men killed in separate incidents in Syria’s Daraa

DARAA, Syria (North Press) – Locals in the northern countryside of Daraa, southern Syria, found on Saturday the dead body of a man whereas another man was killed in the western countryside of Daraa.

A local source told North Press that people in Sanamayn in the north of Daraa found the corpse of a man with torture and several close-range gunshot marks visible on his body. The body that was identified as Muhmmad Ahmad al-Atma, aka Koji, was found near the municipality of the city of Sanamayn in the northern countryside of Daraa.

The source noted the body was taken to the Public Hospital in Sanamayn, then his relatives came to claim it.

The reason for his death is unknown as he does not work for any military formations, according to the source.

In a related context, a local source told North Press a young man, Hisham Ahmad al-Hayek, was found killed in the city of Tafas in the western countryside of Daraa.

Al-Hayek was directly shot by unidentified gunmen in Tafas while he was heading to his work in the vegetables market, the source added. He was a civilian and did not belong to any military or security party.
