HTS arrests SNA leader in Aleppo’s Atarib

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) arrested a military leader of an armed faction of the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA), along with two members of the faction, during a raid on an outpost in the city of Atarib, west of Aleppo.

A source told North Press, “HTS raided a military post of SNA’s Ahrar al-Sham and arrested the military leader known as Abu Abdurrahman al-Hamawi, along with two other members of the same faction, near the city of Atarib.”

The source added that HTS accused those they arrested of being involved in planning operations against them in these areas.

HTS has recently been conducting many arrest operations targeting both leaders and members within its ranks, as well as those within the ranks of SNA. This is the third arrest operation against an SNA faction in areas held by HTS.
