Saudi FM, UN special envoy discuss Syrian crisis in New York
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Saudi Minster of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, met on Sunday with the United Nations Special Envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen, in New York city on the sidelines of the 78 session of the UN General Assembly to discuss the Syrian crisis.
The meeting tackled the latest developments on the political solution to the Syrian crisis and discussed the efforts of both parties and the outcomes of the Arab League summit that was held in Jeddah.
The Prince stressed Saudi Arabia’s eagerness to putting all efforts to reach a political solution to the Syrian crisis that will preserve the unity, security and stability of Syria and the prosperity of its people.
