2 Asayish members killed by Turkish drone in western Qamishli

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) announced that two of its fighters lost their lives and eight individuals were injured in a Turkish drone attack on the road linking between the cities Amuda and Qamishli, northeastern Syria.

Earlier today, a Turkish drone hit a vehicle on the Ali Faro Road, west of Qamishli city.

The Asayish Media Center stated that “a Turkish drone hit a vehicle of our forces on the Ali Faro Road in west of Qamishli city.”

The statement further added that the attack killed two members of the Asayish.

The Turkish drone also hit the civilians who tried to take the victims to hospitals, resulting in injuring eight individuals, the Asayish statement noted.
