SNA hands over 3 Kurdish detainees to Turkey in Syria’s Sere Kaniye

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – The Military Police, affiliated with the Turkish-backed armed opposition factions, aka the Syrian National Army (SNA), handed over on Thursday three Kurdish detainees to the Turkish forces in the city of Sere Kaniye (Ras al-Ain), northeast Syria.

A security source told North Press that “the Military Police handed over three Kurdish detainees to the Turkish Intelligence due to tramped-up charges on espionage to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), then the Turkish Intelligence transferred them to Turkish prisons.

The sources informed that the three detainees who hail from the countryside of Hasakah Governorate, northeastern Syria, had been arrested in April while trying to get into SNA-held areas.

The source noted that this case is considered the 13th one since last June, and the detainees are transferred to prisons in Urfa city, southern Turkey, to be charged with open-ended sentences based on the inaccurate investigations of the Military Police.
