Turkish drone targets government forces in Syria’s Hasakah

TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) – A Turkish drone attacked on Friday evening a military post of the Syrian government forces in the town of Tel Tamr in Hasakah Governorate, northeast Syria.

A military source of the government forces said the Turkish drone targeted a post of the government forces in the village of Tawila in the west of Tel Tamr, north of Hasakah.

The source told North Press that the Turkish forces and their affiliated armed opposition factions, aka the Syrian National Army (SNA), shelled the village of Umm al-Keif in northwest of Tel Tamr without reporting casualties.

On Friday morning, the Turkish forces and the SNA factions shelled villages in the countryside of the towns of Tel Tamr and Zirgan (Abu Rasin) in the north of Hasakah.

The shelling resulted in material damages to the houses and properties of the civilians and set fires to the agricultural lands, a source said.
