US-led Coalition airstrikes hit 2 targets in Syria’s Homs – Khmeimim
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, US-led Global Coalition aircrafts conducted airstrikes on two targets in Homs Governorate, central Syria, a Russian official said.
Russia’s TASS news agency cited Deputy chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Vadim Kulit, as saying “Four planes (two F-16 and two F-35 fighter jets) of the US-led coalition violated Syria’s airspace via the al-Tanf area and delivered airstrikes on two targets in the Homs governorate.”
The Russian official did not provide further details on the targeted locations in Homs only adding that the airstrikes occurred in the early hours of Sunday.
Kulit added that the US-led Global Coalition “violated the November 8, 2017 memorandum on the de-escalation principles in southern Syria.”
