Syria’s Hasakah witnesses security alert by Asayish
HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – Guweiran Prison and neighborhoods in the city of Hasakah, northeast Syria, witnessed on Sunday a security alert with calls from the Internal Security Forces in North and East Syria (Asayish) for residents to stay home.
According to an exclusive source, Guweiran Prison in Hasakah witnessed a security alert by the Asayish, and some neighborhoods, including Mersho neighborhood, on the main street, experienced a curfew with orders for residents to stay in their homes, especially in the southern neighborhoods.
The source added that the Asayish informed business owners in the neighborhoods of Hasakah to immediately close their stores.
The reason behind the security alert is still unknown, according to the source.
