AANES increases salaries by 100 percent
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) raised on Sunday the salaries of its employees by 100 percent.
According to Circular No. 27, the AANES increased the salaries of employees working in both civilian and military institutions.
According to the circular, the minimum salary for the employees reached 1,040,000 Syrian pounds (around $74), while the maximum salary reached 8,222,000 Syrian pounds (around $587).
The decision is effective from the beginning of the current month and does not include various compensations issued under Circular No. 13 issued in March of this year.
The circular also includes adjusting the wages of employees under experience contracts, these contracts may involve specific terms, conditions, and remuneration based on the employee’s qualifications and background.
