Unknown attackers kill, wound HTS militants in Syria’s Aleppo
ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – Unidentified assailants carried out on Wednesday an armed attack against a military vehicle of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS – formerly al-Nusra Front) in the town of Darat Izza, west of Aleppo, killing one militant and injuring another.
An exclusive source told North Press that unknown individuals attacked an HTS military vehicle with light weapons at 8 PM on the road leading to Darat Izza while they were heading towards the village of Kafr Lossin, north of Idlib, damaging their vehicle, killing one militant, and injuring the other.
He added that the attack was carried out by unknown individuals riding motorcycles and carrying light weapons. Such kind of attacks has started happening since June 18.
This is the sixth attack in the countryside of Idlib and Aleppo since early August, with the HTS being unable to determine the identity of the attackers.
