Two people killed in Syria’s Daraa

DARAA, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, unidentified gunmen opened fire on a civilian, killing him immediately, in the western countryside of Daraa, southern Syria.

A local source told North Press that Nasser al-Mutawi was shot dead by unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle in the village of Tafas, western countryside of Daraa.

The source noted that al-Mutawi was not affiliated with any military party.

On the same day, a child lost his life as a result of a landmine explosion in the northern countryside of Daraa.

Kassim Mafalani, 4, lost his life as a result of landmine explosion in a village in northern Daraa, according to a local source.

The source also stated that the child was with two of his relatives during the explosion, however, no one got injured.
