Government soldier killed in eastern Daraa

DARAA, Syria (North Press) – A soldier of the Syrian government forces was killed on Wednesday by unknown gunmen in the eastern countryside of Daraa, southern Syria.

A local source told North Press that Ahmad Ibrahim al-Labban was killed after being targeted by unknown gunmen in eastern Daraa.

The source added that two unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire on al-Labban in a shop in Khirbat Ghazaleh in the eastern countryside of Daraa, after which he was transferred to the Daraa National Hospital, where he passed away.

The source indicated that al-Labban is from the town of Khirbat Ghazaleh and serves within the ranks of the Eighth Brigade of the government forces.
