QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Iraqi National Intelligence Service announced on Friday the arrest of a senior leader of Islamic State (ISIS) in the capital of Baghdad.
The Iraqi News Agency (INA) reported that the Iraqi National Intelligence Service . based on accurate intelligence information, had apprehended Abu Harith Baghdad, an official in al-Qadisiyah Division and one of the most dangerous leaders of ISIS.
The terrorist belonged to the ranks of terrorist groups in 2005 and worked within the Baghdad detachments, then moved to work in other detachments to plant explosive devices and assassinations in the capital in 2007. In 2009, the terrorist moved to Nineveh Governorate and joined ISIS as a leader of al-Qadisiyah Division.
