Car explosion injures person in Syria’s Manbij

MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – A car explosion in the village of Hassan Agha, south of Manbij in northern Syria, injured a person on Sunday.

An eyewitness told North Press that the person was slightly injured while in a mosque in the village.

The injured person was identified as Ahmed al-Jassim, 44, from Hassan Agha, according to the source.

Manbij Military Council posted on Facebook that a Turkish drone targeted a civilian car, causing the injury to al-Jassim.

This incident comes after three people were killed in Manbij on July 9 in a similar car targeting.

Anadolu Agency reported on Saturday that Turkish intelligence was responsible for the previous targeting.
