Turkish-backed SNA militant wounded in IED explosion in Syria’s al-Bab

AL-BAB, Syria (North Press) – A driver of a military vehicle belonging to the Turkish-backed opposition factions, aka the Syrian National Army (SNA), was wounded on Wednesday in an IED explosion in the city of al-Bab east of Aleppo, northwest Syria.

A source affiliated with the SNA told North Press that an IED planted inside a military vehicle belonging to al-Jabha al-Shamiya (Levant Front), a Turkish-backed faction affiliated with the Turkish-backed Third Legion, exploded in the vicinity of al-Bab.

The explosion occurred near al-Numan checkpoint, resulting in the injury of the driver “Khaled Jalo,” and he was transferred to the National Hospital in the city amid a military alert at the scene of the accident, the source added.

Al-Bab city has been under the control of Turkey and its SNA factions since 2017.

The SNA held-areas continue to witness security chaos with many clashes and recurrent explosions amid the inability of the factions to maintain order.
