Iraq Counter Terrorism body kills 5 ISIS militants

ERBIL, KRI, Iraq (North Press) – Iraqi Forces announced on Friday the killing of five militants of the Islamic State (ISIS) in areas in Kirkuk north Iraq.

The Iraqi Counter Terrorism Service, in a statement cited by the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA), said that “a night airdrop was carried out in Kirkuk in Altun Kupri after setting ambushes and deploying snipers, and fierce clashes erupted.”

The fierce clashes resulted in the killing of five ISIS militants, according to the statement.

The statement stressed that the Iraqi Counter Terrorism Service is going ahead carrying these operations at the heights of professionalism in every part of Iraq to eliminate all militants and sleeper cells of ISIS.
