Jordan FM arrives in Turkey after visit to Syria

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan Ayman Safadi arrived on Tuesday in Turkey on a two-day visit following his visit to Syria.

During his trip to Turkey, he will meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan.

On Monday, Safadi arrived in Damascus on an official visit, during which he met with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad. It marked the second visit to Syria in five months.

During the visit to Turkey, Safadi and the Turkish diplomats are scheduled to discuss current regional and international issues, and bilateral ties.

Safadi and Fidan will convene a press conference following discussions in the Turkish foreign ministry building in Ankara.
