Turkish intelligence arrest 9 people in Sere Kaniye
HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – Turkish intelligence, in coordination with the Military Police of the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA), raided on Tuesday the village of Tel Halaf, in the countryside of Sere Kaniye (Ras al-Ain) in northern Hasakah.
An informed source told North Press that “three Turkish intelligence vehicles, along with five Military Police vehicles, raided two houses in the town of Tel Half, west of Ras al-Ain.”
The source added that the patrols arrested nine people, including five Kurds on “charges of planning terrorist acts,” and they were later transferred to an anti-terrorism center.
The source noted that the detainees had arrived in Tel Halaf two days ago, coming from areas held by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES), adding that they had been planning to get smuggled to Turkey.
