Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Thursday that he would meet his Syrian and Russian counterparts Faisal al-Mekdad and Sergey Lavrov respectively in early February.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On December 28 of 2022, a trilateral meeting took place between the Russian, Turkish and Syrian defense ministers in Moscow, which was described by the three parties as \u201cconstructive.\u201d The discussions also included Turkish and Syrian intelligence chiefs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;It could be at the beginning of February, we are working on a date,&#8221; he said speaking on a live broadcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The minister noted that &#8220;there were some propositions for a date for next week but that they did not suit us.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On December 31, the Turkish minister revealed that he would meet his Russian and Syrian counterparts in January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Such a meeting would be highest of its kind since the outbreak of the Syrian civil war more than a decade ago, as Turkey has supported the rebels who wanted to overthrow the current Syrian government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier today, the Russian foreign ministry said that the Kremlin continue its efforts to organize
